About Community Health Nursing

We are committed to improvising the health and health care for those served by community-based health care systems through educating Post Graduate nursing students of Community Health Nursing specialty, II year & IV year Basic B.Sc Nursing students, II year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing students and I year & III year Diploma Nursing Students.

Dept of Community Health Nursing, focused on fostering and strengthening the relationship of college with community, imparting quality education to the students and preparing them as exemplary Community Health nurses. Students are trained in the areas of family assessment and community assessment to identify health problems of people living in the community. The department observes all the National Health days by conducting screening services, organizing camps based on the needs of the community and also performs various forms of health education programs.
